Monash University Malaysia's Advanced Computing Platform (ACP) offers MONTAGE, a state-of-the-art High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster designed to accelerate research across various disciplines. This infrastructure enables researchers to process large datasets and perform complex computations efficiently.

MONTAGE boasts:

  • Over 1500 CPU cores
  • Over 5 Tb of system memory (RAM)
  • 2500++ Gb VRAM (GPU resource)
  • 24 A100 units and 8 H100 units

Key Features

  • Powerful Compute Resources: The HPC Cluster is equipped with a substantial number of Intel CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs, interconnected via high-speed Mellanox InfiniBand networks. This setup allows for parallel processing of workloads, significantly reducing computation times.

  • Scalability: Researchers can scale their computational tasks by distributing workloads across multiple nodes, facilitating the handling of extensive datasets and complex simulations.

  • Specialized Hardware Accelerators: The platform includes hardware accelerators tailored for advanced AI and data processing tasks, enhancing performance for machine learning and deep learning applications.
